----- about us
Isenberg Entertainment is founded and co-owned by Alex and Hannah Isenberg: triple threat performers, choreographers and performing arts educators. With over 35 years of combined experience in the arts industry, their knowledge covers various realms, both in the spotlight and behind the scenes.
Isenberg Entertainment is home to commercial, competitive + corporate choreography, creative direction, artist development, branding, casting, show production and specialty workshops across North America.
Beginning both of their careers on the competitive dance stage, Alex and Hannah have both been dancing as long as they could walk. Exploring the realms of commercial dance, theater, television and movies, they each carved their own path in the industry bringing over 35 combined years of experience and perspective to the classroom.
Hailing from Pittsburgh, Alex Isenberg is a multifaceted dancer, actor and artist. Throughout his career in New York and Los Angeles, Alex has appeared with names like Madonna, Liza Minnelli, Paris Hilton and James Corden and on screen in various TV and movie roles (you may recognize him specifically from Dance Moms, Penny Dreadful, Samsung, or My Dead Boyfriend!). He trained at the Broadway Dance Center student program and was mentored by Brian Thomas (Michael Jackson, Usher, P!nk), assisting with many projects in NYC. Alex was selected as assistant choreographer alongside Kellen Stancil for Broadway Bares in 2014 and 2015. Born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate, Alex is an active speaker and mentor in the cleft-affected community, showing that there is space in the industry and in the world for people from all walks of life!
Originally from Toronto, Hannah Isenberg is a triple-threat performer with a passion for the arts. Her work has allowed her to travel internationally to 39 countries (and counting!) as a dancer, vocalist and actor in various stage, screen and event roles. She has appeared with Dragonette, Afrojack, Much Music, DVBBS, and spent years with Disney Cruise Line as an ensemble and character performer. She is on faculty with many current competition and convention routes across North America, specializing in the body mechanics of acro dance. With a passion for non-profit work, Hannah joined the Niagara cast of Dancing With the Stars, benefiting Easter Seals Ontario in 2023. Hannah was recently named 2024 Women of the Year by the Universal Women’s Network, and choreographed the opening show featuring 24 of Isenberg Entertainment’s dancers. Teacher certifications in C.D.T.A, Acro Dance Teachers Association, and A.A. Hannah served on the Youth Protection Advocates in Dance advisory panel, aiding the growth of their Canadian Syllabus in 2018. Both Alex and Hannah are YPAD trained and hold safety to the utmost standard in their classrooms.
Meeting as professional dancers in Los Angeles, Alex and Hannah joined forces to bring immersive classes, workshops and choreography to pre-professional and professional students across North America. With their combined experiences covering all avenues of the industry, their classes are designed to focus on the fundamentals of the discipline, as well as developing important performance techniques that apply both in and out of the classroom. They are both award-winning competitive dance choreographers, awarded highest mark of the competition with their most current 2024 and 2025 work. Alex and Hannah choreographed an electric Opening Number for the 2025 American Dance Championships National Event in Charleston, paying homage to Anthony Thomas and Janet Jackson. They are both firm believers that a routine is 'more than just a song' and bring inspired teachings to the room with each piece they create. Alex and Hannah lauched S.P.O.T. Adjudicators in 2025, bringing informed and current disciplinary education to the adjudication panel across North America. They both believe in the power of useful, constructive and technically-enhancing critiques for young artists. Since launching their Bridge the Gap Pre-Professional Training Program in 2023, Isenberg Entertainment alumni performers can be seen aboard Disney Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruise Line, RCC, and on-land with Jojo Siwa, Galantis, Petey Pablo, Mather Dance Company, Legoland New York, and on the international stage with World Performers International!
Outside of the dance world, Alex and Hannah make up the alt-pop music duo the Savage Patch Kidds, both working as writers and creative directors for their own work. They have been featured in Mundane Magazine, Canadian Musician Magazine, Pittsburgh Film Festival, Lift-Off Global Network, and performed with the John Lennon Tour Bus, winning Love Song of the Year in 2021. They are excited to continue spreading the joy of genuine performance art across the nation this year and look forward to working where it all began for them, in the studio!
