
Arthur “AJ” Clemente Jr. (he/him) is a multi-faceted performer hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Recognized for his high-energy performances, undeniable stage presence, and humble attitude, Arthur has been fortunate to perform on stages and arenas across the USA. Arthur has performed on the NBA court with the Charlotte Hornets’ “Lil Stingers” dance crew, at halftime with The Harlem Globetrotters, and is a featured dancer in Duelle’s “Steppin” music video. With years of dancing at his home studio, Dedrick’s Dance District (under Dedrick Perkins), Arthur and his team have won multiple national awards and have been recognized for their team dynamic at many competitions and events. Most recently, Arthur received “Mr. American Dance Championships - Grand National Titleist”, as well as championing the improvisation challenge. He was recognized and hand-selected by Isenberg Entertainment (under Alex and Hannah Isenberg) and awarded a scholarship to join their “Bridge the Gap: Pre-Professional Training Program” and artist development track in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Arthur enjoys performing for his community in Charlotte, NC and has been fortunate to dance at the Jumpman Invitational for the Charlotte Sports Organization, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Johnson C. Smith University. Arthur loves performing at ALL events and received praise that he was the “most memorial part of their reception”, by the groom of a wedding he attended. Arthur’s passion for performance is evident no matter the size of the audience, and he loves to bring joy to those around him through dance! Arthur looks forward to all opportunities ahead, and can’t wait to see where the journey will take him.
