Raquel Aleksandra is an up-and-coming standout performer from Lexington, North Carolina. Her multifaceted training has allowed her many large-scale opportunities at a young age, specializing in hip hop, contemporary, jazz, tap and ballet.
During her time as a competitive dancer, Raquel was ranked as a Top Five Soloist in Showstopper's National Tour and performed with High Point Ballet from 2014-2016 as a company dancer. Raquel has worked with names like Will Simmons (Prince, Missy Elliott, Janet Jackson), Geo Hubela (Michael Jackson, P!nk, Will Smith), Greg Chapkis (Ciara, America’s Got Talent). She was featured as a dancer and choreographer for Childlike Cici's "Get It Gurl" music video, and can be seen in IMPACT Dance’s concept video “My House”. Raquel was awarded for her standout overall choreography at Platinum National Dance Competition in 2023. She is currently choreographing for Dancers Edge in North Carolina, and is a faculty member at Peace Love and Hip Hop in South Carolina, where she works alongside some of the industry's top choreographers and instructors.
Raquel has now taken it beyond her home town and is attending Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina for her Degree in Exercise & Sports Science with a minor in Health & Wellness. She is looking forward to continuing her budding career in the industry and welcomes all future opportunities with open arms. Raquel is looking forward to exploring new avenues of dancing, teaching and choreographing across the United States.
