
Meyana Hinton is a talented and versatile performer originating from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Celebrated for her electrifying performances, strong presence, and diverse experience across various dance styles, Meyana has had the privilege of gracing stages and arenas throughout the USA. She has danced on the NBA halftime court as part of the Charlotte Hornets’ guest dance crew, showcased her skills during halftime with The Harlem Globetrotters, and featured in Duelle’s “Steppin” music video. With years of training at her home studio, Dedrick’s Dance District (under the guidance of Dedrick Perkins), Meyana and her team have earned numerous national awards and gained recognition for their teamwork at various competitions and events. Recently, she was acknowledged for her artistic talent, finishing as a top competitor at American Dance Championships. Additionally, she was selected by Isenberg Entertainment (under Alex and Hannah Isenberg) and awarded a scholarship to participate in their “Bridge the Gap: Pre-Professional Training Program” and artist development track in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Meyana takes great joy in performing for her local community in Charlotte, NC, having had the opportunity to dance at the Ally Halftime Show, Walt Disney World, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Johnson C. Smith University, where she has enrolled this fall. Meyana eagerly anticipates expanding her connections within the dance community and is enthusiastic about embracing every opportunity that comes her way.
