Jaliyah Power is an upcoming artist from Toronto, Canada. Training in ballet, jazz, acrobatics, modern, contemporary and hip hop, Jaliyah brings forth a strong repertoire of knowledge and adaptability to each stage she enters.

 

Jaliyah is currently undergoing pre-professional training with the mentorship of Isenberg Entertainment (Hannah Isenberg, Alex Isenberg) and Titanium Arts Lab (Kalene Corcoran, Maryssa Clarke) and has had the opportunity to work under the direction of Gerard McIsaac, Derek Piquette, Chris Knowles and more. Jaliyah has danced with the Harlem Globetrotters Basketball Team during their opening and halftime performances. She continues to learn and takes every opportunity to grow her craft as a young artist, earning her top accolades as top scoring soloist at 8 competitions in the past two years. Jaliyah was selected by MSA to join their summer remix cast in New York City where she trained with some of the industry’s top entertainers.

 

Jaliyah will be joining the opening performance cast of the Universal Women’s Network “Women of Inspiration Awards” this fall in Toronto, as well as the opening cast for “Dancing with the Stars: Easter Seals” in Hamilton, and looks forward to each opportunity that lies ahead for her budding career in the arts.
